Quality Parish Scheme
Whitnash Town Council has been successfully awarded Quality Status again for 2009-2013.
QPS Registration Number: QC-10-03-00010
Quality Parish Status (QPS) is a charter mark proving to the electorate and other agencies that a parish or town council is well run and working effectively on behalf of its community. Any parish or town council, regardless of its size, is welcome to apply for quality status. Councils attaining QPS may, if they wish, take on extra functions for the benefit of their communities, by negotiating with County and District Councils for the devolution of functions and services down to grassroots level.
Whitnash Town Council was one of the first councils to achieve Quality Parish status.
