The Whitnash Community Forum is at 6.30pm, on Tuesday 18th October, at Acre Close Community Hall, CV31 2ND.

Residents are encouraged to vote on local policing priorities in the town by going to the following website:

This month the Commissioner reveals the Draft Police and Crime Plan and seeks feedback from partners and the community, celebrates the expansion of the provision of police counter services through Warwickshire Direct and also the Purple Flag award for Leamington, while looking ahead to Hate Crime Awareness Week.

He also provides an update on his trip to St Paul's Cathedral in London to commemorate National Police Memorial Day.

Trading Standards update – doorstep rogue traders

Please be aware that there have been instances of rogue traders offering roofing services on the doorstep of homes in the Rugby area.

Residents are advised to beware of such people, and not to offer them work.

16/09/2016 Postcode scam telephone call

A Warwickshire resident reported receiving three unexpected phone calls from someone claiming to be calling to check their postcode!

Never provide any personal or financial information to unexpected callers. Fraudsters gather information which can then be used to commit crime, including identity theft.
