Temporary closure of the public footpath from Masters Road to Acre Close

Please be aware that it is the intention of the County Council to close the public footpath from Masters Road to Acre Close, to allow replacement street lighting to be installed. This should only last from 19th February – 20th February.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH F18360 FROM MASTERS ROAD TO ACRE CLOSE, WHITNASH

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing Public Footpath F18360 from Masters Road to Acre Close, Whitnash that runs from Langley Road to Acre Close recreation ground, to all traffic.

The closure is required to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public while works for the replacement of street lighting columns is in progress.

The Order will commence on 19 February 2018 and will last for a period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20 February 2018.

Access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of footpath to be closed, if any, will be maintained where possible.

An alternative route is available via: Langley Road, Masters Road, Brunswick Street, Whitnash Road, Heathcote Road, Acre Close and vice versa.
